She has dark brown hair with chocolate brown eyes. A pale complexion yet rosy cheeks when she laughs. Ella has a small nose in the center of her beautiful face. She has soft rose colored lips. Long lashes adorn her round eyes.
Style: Ella loves to wear dresses and skirts. Ever since she was a young girl, she would always have on a dress. No matter the color or print, she had to wear it. Now don’t misjudge. She can be a tomboy. Her favorite clothing other than dress, is blue army pants. Normally she will have a dressy top and wear them underneath.
The only time she will take to do her hair, is curling it. She likes to wear rollers in her hair at night. Then takes them out after putting some hairspray on. She hates wearing makeup. She will only wear it to important dates. She keeps her face as natural as possible and only applying the needed lip gloss.
Although highly intelligent and well mannered, Ella tends to slump when she walks. She has not had many good things in her life and seems to carry the weight of the world at all times. The only thing to get her through each day is her sister and school.
Looks Like: Miranda Cosgrove
Personality: Eleanor has calmness to her, unlike her friends. She takes everything in bit by bit, calm yet always kind of on edge, waiting for something to happen. She never fully expresses herself when she is sad, happy or angry. She keeps everything locked up most of the time. The only time she expresses emotion is with Mia. Mia is her best friend, always has been from the time Mia was born.
Ella cannot go a day without reading something. Whether is a newspaper or book, it doesn’t matter. She is completely addicted to the written word. While reading, she listens to music. She loves all kinds, mostly listening to early music from the 50’s and 60’s, such as Johnny Cash. She will also listen to classical music. Her favorites are Bach, Beethoven, Mozart and Tchaikovsky.
Ella spends most of her free time, if not reading, with her little sister and her best friend Ann Marie. They are very into ballet and have seen nearly twenty plays centered on ballerinas. Each Christmas Eve, the three girls attend The Nutcracker. Each time Ella sees it, it’s like seeing it for the first time. Afterword, she usually will copy the dancers’ steps at home, putting on a performance before bedtime. Dancing is her ultimate favorite sport.

History: Eleanor grew up in Boston with her parents Robert and Melanie. When she was seven years old, her baby sister Amelia arrived. She was not brought up in a very happy home. Her parents even labeled her as the worst Christmas gift. Her father worked late hours and her mother stayed home all day, draining her sorrows with whiskey on the living room couch. Usually when her father came home, he did the same, grabbed a bottle and started fights with his wife. One night, while arguing over money, in his drunken haze Robert accidentally left some papers on the heated stove. The house caught fire with Ella’s parents trapped inside. They were killed before anyone could save them.
Luckily, Ella and Mia were at a sleep over in their aunts’ home. From then on it was up to Ella to raise her sister. The two were placed into foster care instead of their aunt. She was found to have an unfit home for two little girls. The foster homes they lived in were not much better than home life had been. Most of the time, the foster parents just left the girls to fend for themselves.
Eleanor had to learn to cook because of this. She discovered some cook books one day while looking through the house. Trying different things with the food her foster parents remembered to buy. She truly loved to cook once she got the hang of it. Mia was grateful to be the taste tester for her big sis. After staying a year at that foster home, they were moved to another. This one was a little better, but still the same lack of interests from the parents.
At this one, they grew up with their dear foster sister Ann Marie. She was just two weeks older than Eleanor was. It was discovered after a few months, that the parents and Ann Marie were all witches, like Ella and Mia. Ann Marie is a lovable person. Whenever she and Ella are together, their laughter spreads like wildfire. After the older girls reached the age of fourteen, their parents forced them out of the house, claiming they didn’t want them there. They could take care of themselves they believed.
Eleanor, Ann Marie and Amelia live in an apartment together now. It has not been easy, but they try getting by. Ella and Ann Marie work at the local diner as waitresses. They work there after school for forty hours each week. All three have been attending magic school since they moved away, after working alongside another waitress. She was also a witch and thought it unbelievable that the girls had never heard of the school.
Eleanor has been attending magic school for a second year now. There she met her boyfriend Clark. They have been dating every since she nearly blew him up with a potion she brewed. She is best at English but worst at Vanquishing class. She doesn’t see the need for violence, so she tends to not do the assignments. She loves History of Magic most. She loves reading about past events, fantasizing about herself as some other person. Anyone whose life seemed happier than hers was. She is a loving person no matter her past, always hugging tightly those she loves most in the world..

SAMPLE WRITING:
Eleanor awoke to the sound of an irritating buzzing noise. What is that? She thought. Looking up from her fluffy pillow, she discovered the source of the noise. Her alarm clock. Another day. She hit the off button and sat straight up. She looked around her room. Clark was still asleep next to her.
She lay down on his back and kissed his cheek, combing her fingers through his curly brown locks. She got up off the bed and walked into the kitchen. Seeing Mia already awake, she went over to the stool she was sitting on and put her arms around her shoulders. “Good morning Mia,” she said, “did you sleep well.”
“I did,” Mia responded, “and yourself.” Ella thought it over. I shouldn’t worry her with the truth. “It was good. Almost didn’t get out of bed was so good.” She added a smile for Mia’s benefit. Mia looked at her face, disbelieving her. “What’s wrong,” she asked, “you’re hiding something, I can see it.” How does she know that? “Everything will be fine,” Ella said, “nothing to worry about.
“If you say so,” Mia said. She turned back to her eggs and toast, reading the comic page of the paper. Ella kissed the top of her head and walked to the coffee pot, put a filter in and turned it on. She thought over the night before. How could I have been so reckless? Another magical child brought into the world. More demons to come after us, vying for the chance to kill him or her. What was I thinking? [/blockquote][/sup]
