DESCRIPTION:
Physical Description: Sho is around medium height, standing at 5'10" and thin with an olive tone to his skin. He doesn’t have much muscle, but he can handle himself in a physical fight if he ever had to. Sho changes his hair every time a new season rolls around. He likes it to be long, but ever since he got it caught in a door, he keeps it above his elbows. His hair is rather thin, which makes it easy to style. Sho is one of those people who loves everything about himself, right down to the crescent moon shaped birthmark on the back of his left shoulder. He wishes that he could be stronger, but that's just one of those things that comes with time.
Style: Sho likes the gothic style the most, as well as the androgynous look, although it’s not hard to tell he’s a male. He's always preferred the color black to any other, so most of his clothing is dark. The spiked collars and bracelets called out to him as well. The androgynous look came when he was around 13. He started growing out his hair and styling, wearing eyeliner, and tearing up skirts to wear. He layers on the clothing, with two to three shirts, pants, occasionally a ripped up skirt, a jacket or hat, and plently of necklaces, bracelets, and earrings. Like Ava, he believes you should communicate who you really are through your appearance. He wants to be noticed by others, so he wears what would be consider outrageous fashions.
Looks Like: Hyde (no last name)
Personality:
Sho is outgoing and energetic, always looking for a new way to have fun. He believes in things such as destiny and fate, which often causes him to butt heads with his best friend, Ava. She thinks everything out completely, weighing the negatives and positives of a situation before voicing his own opinion. He loves people, and tries to be nice to everyone.
Sho wants to enjoy the younger years of his life. He wants to do everything imaginable before he gets too old to do anything. He knows that he is being prepared for the future, but he can’t bring himself to completely focus. Sho has very few goals, but the ones he does have are very important and well thought out.
Sho gives out second chances like a university gives out scholarships. It takes a lot to earn his trust, and very little to lose it. And once it’s lost, people have to work to earn it back. Sho thinks that trust is one of the most important things in the world, and if someone doesn’t cherish his trust enough to make sure they don’t hurt him, they don’t deserve it.

History: Sho was born in Tokyo, Japan and lived there for three years. He and his parents lived in a small, ragged apartment with little money. Despite the lack of money, Sho's mother and father gave him everything he could possibly want, and it helped that he wasn't a greedy child. Later, he, his mother, and his father moved to Salem, Massachusetts. Sho instantly made plenty of friends, due to his outgoing nature. He later met his friend, Ava, when he was caught playing in her coy pond. Even though Ava did not want to be his friend at first, he continued to pester her until she agreed to being his best friend.
Throughout his elementary and middle school years, Sho made plenty more friends, but his closest was always Ava. He also dicovered his powers one day in his fifth grade year when a basketball was headed towards his face. Sho wrote off occurences such as a basketball being deflected and doors opening before he could reach them as coincidence, so when he finally told his parents about the strange happenings, they promised him it was nothing more then him coming into his powers.
At first, Sho had trouble controlling them, and would often hurt himself while practicing. He became a bit more withdrawn, but once he got the hang of them, his life returned to the way it had been. At the age of 12, Ava caught Sho using his telekinesis to open doors and they finally confessed to each other about their powers. Sho began attending Magic School when he was 14, along with Ava, his best friend. Sho and Ava both shared the same feelings about Magic School.
They did not want to go. Both had a problem with change, so when Ava was told she would be attending, Sho's parents decided to transfer him as well, so that they would not have to be without the other. After a couple of weeks, Sho and Ava became quite fond of the school. While Ava was terrible at Potion Making, he did it very well, and would often help her when things got too messy and out of control. He did, however, find out just how much he didn’t care for English or Literature. He would fall asleep during lessons, only to be smacked upside the head by Ava.
Sho is a more physical person, enjoying the occasional run around the school halls or a game of basketball. He and Ava get into plenty of trouble together. He doesn't care for learning, but he does attempt to do well, resulting in an average performance. If he applied himself, Sho would most likely do extremely well, but he would much rather have fun then do work.
Any Extra Information: Sho has a tattoo of the Japanese symbol for happiness on the base of his right thumb. He and Ava got them when they were 15.[/[/size]
SAMPLE WRITING:
[/blockquote] Sho jogged up the steps to his house after his morning run around town. The door flew open on it’s own accord and closed in the same way once he had entered the house.
“Sho! How many times do we have to tell you not to use your powers out in the open like that?” His father asked, looking over the top of his newspaper.
“Sorry, Dad. I forgot.” He said, shrugging his shoulders. Moeta shook his head and returned to his paper, muttering something about rebellious teens.
“Dad, you know I’m not rebellious.” Sho said, falling onto the sofa beside his father. Moeta glanced over at his son.
“I know. And that’s what worries me. I don’t know when that rebellious streak will kick in.” He joked, poking Sho in the side. Sho stuck his tongue out at his father and got up, running up the stairs to his room. He wasn’t surprised in the least when he found his younger sisters in there, playing with his many hair styling tools.
“Careful. Don’t waste my gel.” He said to Sato, ruffling her short hair as he passed into the bathroom. “Okay Sho! We won’t!” Momo said, grabbing the bright yellow tube away from her twin and sitting it back on his table. Sho washed his face and stared at his reflection.
“I think it’s time for another hair cut.” He muttered to himself, pulling on his bangs and measuring how long they were with his eyes. A loud crash brought him out of his thinking.
“Sato! Why’d you let them go?” Momo shouted from inside his bedroom. Sho raised an eyebrow and headed back to his bedroom, dreading what he would find. His table of hair products was overturned, scattering all the items it held over his already clothing covered floor.
“What in the name of Shinigami are you doing?” He asked, leaning against his doorframe and watching the two girls crawl around on the floor, looking under his bed and clothes.
“We lost our lizards.” Sato said, rolling under his bed and disappearing from view.
“Correction. Sato lost our lizards.” Momo said, crawling into his closet. Sho shook his head and began searching his floor. He grinned as he spotted the two green creatures on his bed, easily hidden by his bright green blanket. Sho quickly grabbed them by their tails.
“Here. Now get out of my room.” He said, holding them out to the girls. Sato grabbed them and handed one to Momo. Sho’s curiosity got the better of him as they started to leave his room.
“Hold up, girls. What exactly are you planning on doing with those things?” He asked, sitting down on the edge of his bed and narrowing his eyes at them. The girls smiled wickedly.
“Oh nothing.” Momo said.
“Mama just happened to mention she saw Ava coming in about ten minutes.” Sato added, referring to their mother‘s precognition. Sho laughed and shook his head.
“I see. But don’t throw them at her. She might kill them.” He said. Sato and Momo nodded enthusiastically and left his room. Sho sat on his bed, staring up at the ceiling and imagining Ava’s reaction when she found out there were lizards around her. Remembering that her only had ten minutes until Ava came, She began to get dressed.
The shrill scream was enough to tell him that Ava had arrived and that she had just came in contact with the lizards. Sho hurried down the stairs and laughed. Ava was sitting down, legs sprawled out as evidence that she had fallen backwards.
"Sorry, Ava. I might've told them you were afraid of lizards. My bad." Sho said, grabbing her under her shoulders and lifting her up.
"You're going to be sorry." Ava muttered, turning to face him with her hands on her hips. She gave him a once over and furrowed her brow.
"You're wearing a skirt." She said, tugging on the terribly ripped black skirt around his waist. Sho laughed.
"Do you like it?" He asked. Ava tapped her chin with her index finger before nodding.
"Actually, it doesn't look that bad. But since it's mine, it should look fantastic." She said, raising an eyebrow. Sho laughed again and grabbed her wrist.
"Let's go to the mall. I'm bored." He said, dragging her out the door. [/sup]
