DESCRIPTION:
Physical Description: Zenaveve is a petite and slender girl, but don't let her fool you. She is anything but a weakling. She has long blonde hair and a long, rather pointed face. Her eyes are quite large, and when she gets really angry they get even larger and seem as if they could pop out of her head. She is not traditionally beautiful, but she has a quality about her that some consider attractive, and others, do not. Her nose has always been a sore point with her, as it is much larger than she would like. To her it is like a sore thumb, sitting dreadfully in the middle of her face. She'd done several things to try and change it, but it
Her eyes started out dark brown when she was a baby, but over the years they have darkened, and in the right look, look black on occasion. They hold a mystery and depth to them, and most that really take the time to look her in the eyes, don't trust her. She considers them one of her best features, and enjoys using them to either lure people in, or scare people off.
When she smiles its a mixture of beauty and horror. If it's sinister enough, her perfect white teeth show, and her eyes focus on her target. It's almost unsettling to see her smile, as she only does it at the most inappropriate times. Her expressions are almost always used to manipulate someone - and they rarely even show what is going on in the twisted mind of hers.
Style: Zenaveve likes wearing trendy outfits and dresses. She and her sister had a decent inheritence, but before reality set in - Zenaveve spent a lot of money on a new wardrobe. She updates is their funds permit, but hasn't veered in style. Innocent looking one day, and completely devilish the next. She likes getting attention using the clothes she wears, and she likes reminding people that she is better than them - by using her trendy clothes. You will never catch her without a perfectly coiffed hairstyle, nice jewelry, a cute or sexy outfit, and matching accessories for each one.
She does her best not to dress her part, so that when people first look at her, they judge that she is a nice, sweet, girl - not an evil murderess who even killed her own parents. Not until they really start talking to her, do they realize that something is very off about her. At the very least, she has the first impression down pat.
Looks Like: Ashley Tisdale.
Personality: Zenaveve started her life as innocent as any child. She was a magical baby, with a future that her parents dreamed about as being full filled with goodness and love. However, she is a far cry from the young woman that her parents once imagined in their heads as they cradled their youngest daughter. Since the cursed object, her favorite stuffed clown, began to work it's magic on her, Zen enjoyed watching pain in people. She would laugh cheerfully as Vicus told her about witch vanquishes, and terrible events that caused mass deaths. If a tragedy was being shown on TV - real or not, she was always drawn to it. Watching destruction was endlessly entertaining to the young girl, and she hid it pretty well from her parents. She wouldn't speak of her obsession, at least not to anyone that wasn't Vicus or her older sister, Zarah.
Zenaveve is a very focused young woman. Once there is something that she wants, she doesn't let it out of her grasp, until it is hers, or crushed completely. She is ambitious to begin with, but the added focus makes her very one-track minded when she finds something she deems worthy of her attention. This can be a huge problem for her, because it leaves her open to be utterly blind sided by something, anything else that wasn't what she was focused on. If she focuses on you, it can be rather intimidating.
She is overly interested in Magic, so much so that it boarders on obsession. Her whole being is devoted to it, and so she barely looks up from her potions or spells to notice a guy - and she's not very inclined to date a mortal. He'd never be able to understand her...plus they were just so...dumb. There was no way that someone who's life was so wrapped up in magic could ever be around a mortal for too long. In recent years, she's only found reasons to watch them burn, just like Vicus said they should.
There is no doubt Zen has a cold side to her, and it is about 7/8 of her personality. It's one that doesn't let any sort of emotions affect her actions. She simply doesn't care about other people. If you were not her sister, your life was simply secondary to her. It didn't matter who she stepped on, or even mauled over completely to get to where she wanted - she would do it. Zen and her sister both went through murdering their own parents, just to better their situation...to continue to grow as evil. If she could do that, petty high school drama emotions were not going to control her life.
Being in control is something that gives Zen an adrenaline rush like nothing else. Mostly, she likes knowing that people fear her - and that she can use that fear to control others. But knowing that others must answer to her, is something she craves. It hasn't come along much - but she does her best to exert her authority over her peers, who have never really liked her because of it. She's known to be pretty bossy - but she looks at it as asserting control over others. Ultimately, that's what she wants out of life. To be in control. Of course, she and her sister volley back and forth on this issue, as her sister is older and has the same desire. Generally, Zen will back off when it comes to her big sister or demons, but not when it comes to her peers.

History: Zedhryx Keller and Kevlyn Payne were high school sweethearts that met in Magic School. They were young, and in love, but they had plenty of rough times together. Kevlyn lived at the school, her family have abandoned her when they realized she had powers. The Payne family had been mortal for nearly 3 generations, and had never been clued in on what their genes held. At the first sign of weirdness they dropped her off at a firestation, and never looked back. Kevlyn was found by a whitelighter when she was 4 years old, and had lived at Magic School even since. She never even remembered the family that had once dumped her off. Zedhryx came from a family of good witches, that had been fighting the good fight for as long as any of the living decedents could remember. They were married in 1969, and a short year later they welcomed their first child into the world. Zarah Hekate Keller. She was a sweet little girl, with the blondest hair her parents had ever seen. She was lively and energetic, until she reached about 2 years old.
When the little girl should have been embracing a certain amount of social skills, and developing her personality, she was spending a lot of time in a corner, seemingly talking to herself. As she grew older, they realized that she had created an imaginary friend. It worried them, but when Kevlyn found out that she was pregnant with their 2nd child, their fears were subsided for a while. Zarah would get a real playmate, and be back on the right track. In 1974, when Zarah was four years old, Zenaveve was brought into the world. She was a small baby, but she grew quickly.
Zarah didn't take much interest in the new baby at first. She was much more content to talk with her imaginary friend, and the Keller's began to get more concerned. They sent her to Magic School shortly after Zenaveve was born. They hoped that her social skills would be able to bloom at the school. What they learned was that she had a knack for being a bully, and she was still spending portions of her time talking with an invisible being. The part her parents couldn't see, was that her imaginary friend, was always real.
Back at home, Zenaveve was beginning to show the same strange signs of social dysfunction. The couple did all they could to show their children love and acceptance. They went to Leilani Mahala on more than one occasion, trying to find help for their daughters. Everyone assumed it was mental and emotional, but they never looked deep enough to realize it was demonic. Vicus, a demon who spent his life preying on and corrupting young witches, was gaining their trust without anyone knowing he was there. After cursing items both girls adored, and worming his way into their lives, the evil he introduced to them slowly began to turn them.
At the age for four, just like her sister, Zen began to attend pre-school at Magic School, where she attended from then on. She was fascinated by everything that that was being taught to her, and she knew she was meant for something great. Vicus was always quick to remind her that she was better than the others. Of course she was, because how else could she see him? She made a few friends over the years, but most saw the coldness in her eyes and were not interested in more than common pleasantries with her.
As she grew older Zen took to Vicus' suggestions quite easily. He was like a secret she shared with her sister, that no one else knew about. After a while, being evil, feeling evil, was normal. Vicus was always careful to let them know how much going through, and being in, Magic School was important to them. It was where they could learn all they needed to in order to harness their power, and one day become the women they were meant to be.
Zedhryx and Kevlyn had a short time where they were on the outs - mostly because they disagreed on the way their daughters should be taken care of. Kevlyn wanted to dig deeper into their minds, using one of the professors at the school. Figured out what was going on. They had seemed to stop talking to themselves, but as they got older Vicus was easily hidden. He taught them how to be manipulative and more important, how to lie. Vicus was something both girls had in common, and they bonded over him easily. During that time, Zedhryx began to spend a lot of time away from the home. Kevlyn was crying more times than not, and Vicus was using this to further corrupt the girls to evil. Love didn't really exist if their parents couldn't find it in each other. Unbeknownst to anyone else in the family, Zedhryx got a young woman, named Alyssa Young, pregnant. She was a mortal, and knew nothing of the bewitching family he already possessed. Still, to this day, the girls know nothing of their half-brother, Mattox Young. Alyssa has not heard a word from Zedhryx since she told him that she was pregnant. She didn't have any of his home numbers nor did she know where he lived - or even, his real name, and he cancelled the phone he used to communicate with her. He used the name Mattox with her, which became the name she used for her son.
Their arguing seemed to stop when Zenaveve was 12 years old, and by this time the cursed items had taken complete hold of Zen and her older sister. But they were careful to keep the facade of being good, because both of them were painfully aware that if their dark leanings were known, they'd be chucked from the school in a heartbeat. Zen constantly skirted around the Headmistress, afraid that she would be able to see Vicus if he were around, or see what was really in her heart. She continued to instill fear in the people around her, but it was so deep - that most didn't realize that it was fear. They just avoided her for some social reason or another. But she knew - and Vicus was constantly reminding her, that they feared her. And with good reason.
It was only two short years later, that Zarah and Zenaveve were put to the biggest test they could possibly be confronted with. After years and years of whispers in their ears, the most horrific event was orchestrated - by them. It was just after midnight, and both Zedhryx and Kevlyn were sound asleep in their bed. It took only 10 seconds - completely disarmed and no fight put up whatsoever. They messed up the house properly to make it seem as if someone had broken and entered. No one ever discovered what really happened to them. At the time, Zarah was 17, and she had just begun her senior year. Zarah was very headstrong about the two of them staying in the home they grew up in. It was heavily debated, especially because if the house had been targeted once, why not the girls too? They were given a whitelighter who checks on them several times a week, and came whenever they called (which was virtually never).
Once Zarah turned 18, she requested that the whitelighter stop checking in. The Elders reluctantly agreed, but Zarah was an adult at that point. A few years past, and there have been no incidences at the house. At least, not any that made anyone worry about the Keller sisters' safety. For the most part, now - they are seen as girls that survived something that could have easily killed them, but they tragically lost their parents in the process. What they didn't know, was that the Keller sisters were witches gone very, very wrong.
